Return Policy

At Swell Hell, most physical products are made especially for you after you order. That keeps us from producing piles of extra stuff that may never be used, but it also means we cannot handle returns and exchanges the same way a big-box store can.
Please read this policy before placing an order.
Made-to-Order Physical Products
Apparel, accessories, wall art, stickers, journals, and other physical items sold by Swell Hell are generally made to order through our print-on-demand production partners.
Because each item is made after the order is placed, all physical-product sales are final. We do not accept returns, offer refunds, process cancellations, or provide size exchanges for:
- Ordering the wrong size, color, style, or design
- Fit preferences or a change of mind
- Duplicate orders
- An incorrect shipping address entered at checkout
- Color differences caused by screens, monitors, or normal print variation
- Normal wear, washing damage, or use after delivery
- Carrier delays or packages marked as delivered by the carrier

Please Check the Size Chart Before Ordering
Every apparel product has its own size chart on the product page. Please use it.
An XL in one brand of T-shirt does not automatically fit like an XL in another brand, and the same is true for sweatshirts, leggings, hoodies, and other apparel. The safest way to choose is to measure a garment you already own and love, then compare those measurements to the size chart on the exact product page.
We know sizing can be frustrating. Still, a size or fit issue is not considered a manufacturing defect, so we cannot replace or refund an item because it does not fit as expected.
Measure first. Order with confidence.
Wrong, Damaged, Defective, or Misprinted Items
We will make things right when an item arrives with a real production problem.
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if you received:
- The wrong item, size, color, or design because of our fulfillment error
- A damaged item
- A defective item
- A misprinted item
- An item with a clear manufacturing defect
Scroll down to the bottom of this page for the Return Authorization Request Form and fill it out with:
- Your order number
- The name and email address used for the order
- A short description of the problem
- Clear photos of the item, including a close-up of the issue and a full photo of the item
- Photos of the packaging and shipping label if the item was damaged during shipping
Please keep the item and all original packaging until we review the claim. Do not mail anything back unless we specifically ask you to.
If the issue is verified, our usual solution is to send a replacement of the same item at no additional cost. If an exact replacement is not available, we will contact you with the available options.
Packages Marked Delivered, Lost, or Returned
Once a package is marked delivered by the shipping carrier, Swell Hell cannot replace or refund it because it was lost or stolen afterward.
Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. If an order is returned to the sender because the address entered at checkout was incomplete or incorrect, additional shipping charges may apply before it can be sent again.
Shipping delays are frustrating, especially when you are waiting on something you were excited to receive. Once an order is in the carrier’s hands, however, transit delays are outside our control.
Cancellations and Order Changes
Our production partners begin working on orders quickly. For that reason, we cannot guarantee cancellations, address changes, size changes, color changes, or design changes after an order is placed.
Please review every part of your order before submitting it.
Digital Products
Digital products, including trackers, planners, journals, Google Sheets, downloads, and other digital tools, are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Once a digital product has been delivered or made available for download, it cannot be returned. Because of the nature of digital files, we cannot offer substitutions, exchanges, or refunds for a different product.
If you did not receive your download, lost the download email, or have a technical problem accessing a digital product you purchased, complete the form below with your order number and the email address used at checkout.
We will resend the same exact digital product you ordered. No substitutions or swaps will be made.
